Browser security firm Island just raised $400 million in new funding. Island co-founder and CEO Mike Fey says the business has grown by 100% since entering the market. Now, he states that growth can move even faster. Big investors like Sequoia, CyberStarts, Coatu, Georgian, and Evolution Prism put up the cash. Island plans to use the money to expand sales and boost research and development, the work a company does to innovate and create new products. "So it's global scale.
