Our work belongs to us

Every article on this site is written by MYB News, and the writing, headlines, layout and photographs as arranged here are our property. You are welcome to quote a sentence or two and link back to the article. You may not republish a whole piece, rewrite it as your own, or feed the site to a machine to reproduce it elsewhere. If you want to reprint something properly, ask us at news@mybnews.com and the answer is usually yes.

Nothing here is advice

MYB News explains how things work. It does not tell you what to do with your money. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance or medical advice, and nothing here is an offer to buy or sell anything. Figures such as market prices and mortgage rates move constantly and are shown as they stood when we published. Before you act on anything you read here, speak to somebody licensed to advise you about your own situation.

We get things right, and we fix what we get wrong

We only write a story once several independent outlets have reported it, and we name the outlets we took figures from inside the piece. Even so, mistakes happen. If you spot one, email news@mybnews.com. We correct the page itself rather than quietly deleting it.
