Mini is finally taking its Countryman into the great outdoors. The Countryman Untamed is the latest version of the Countryman, a compact crossover that is now more country than ever. For 2027, Mini is introducing the Countryman Untamed Edition, a lifted and outdoorsy version of the Countryman. The Countryman Untamed will be available on Countryman S All4 and SE in North America, and only on the electric Countryman E and SE in Europe. The Countryman Untamed is a lifted, outdoorsy version of the big Mini. The Countryman Untamed Edition will have a suspension lift that raises the car by 0.6 inch, paired with new 19-inch alloy wheels and Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tires for a total increase in ground clearance of 0.8 inch. The Countryman Untamed will also get a textured coating along its wheel arches, sills, and hood to minimize scratches and chips, and additional underbody protection. The ABS braking, DSC traction management, and steering have been retuned to work with the changed geometry and all-terrain rubber. The Countryman Untamed will stand apart from the road-focused Countryman with a redesigned front grille in an exclusive dark-gray finish. The same finish, called Dark Steel, can be found on badges and trim. Mini designers looked to the mountains for color inspiration, offering exterior paint in rocky gray, icy blues and whites, and a new matte finish option called Frozen Nomad Blue. Roof finishes are available in white or black. An additional roof option is offered in the form of a pop-up rooftop tent designed in partnership with the Italian camping company Autohome. The Countryman’s roof is rated to support 165 pounds while driving and up to 661 pounds while parked, making it a workable camping solution for two folks who like each other. The Countryman Untamed.
