Barclays brings back its savings bonus up to $400 for new depositors
Barclays, the major British bank, launched a new savings bonus paying $200 or $400.

The short version
- You need a deposit of $25,000 or $40,000 held for 120 days.
- The deal runs until January 31, 2027.
- If you have cash sitting, park it for 120 days to earn the extra cash plus the 4% APY.
Why it matters to you. For business owners or families holding liquid reserves for taxes or upcoming expenses, parking the funds here captures a higher yield than a standard checking account.
Barclays, the major British bank, just brought back its cash savings bonus with a payout ranging from $200 to $400 for new depositors, according to Doctor Of Credit. The offer gives you two ways to earn, depending on how much cash you want to lock away.
The standard offer pays a $200 bonus when you deposit $25,000 and keep it there for 120 days. A separate AARP offer steps up the reward to a $400 bonus, but it requires a larger deposit of $40,000 held for the same 120 days.
The savings account earns a base rate of 4% APY, bringing the total annualized return even higher when you factor in the bonus. The promotion is open now and runs until January 31, 2027. Meeting the terms takes some attention to detail, since the balance must stay untouched for the full four months.

Check your cash flow and confirm the account terms before making the transfer.
