Chase just launched a $250 bonus and removed foreign fees on Freedom Flex

Chase is offering two hundred fifty dollars in bonus points for a new card.

The short version

  • You must spend five hundred dollars in three months to earn the bonus.
  • The card has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees now.
  • The Limited time deal ends on November fifth at seven in the morning.

Check your wallet before your next trip. Chase, the massive bank and credit card issuer, just refreshed its popular no annual fee Chase Freedom Flex card with a new twenty five thousand point bonus worth two hundred fifty dollars. According to DansDeals, you will need to spend five hundred dollars on the card within your first three months to unlock the bonus.

Chase also dropped the three percent foreign transaction fee on the card, making it a handy piece of plastic to bring along on your next trip abroad. The bank added a new points boost feature and promised to reveal upcoming quarterly five times categories a quarter in advance.

But it is not all good news for cardholders, as Chase is officially dropping cell phone insurance from the benefits list. The card earns points that can be cashed out at one cent each, or pooled with premium cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred to transfer into airline miles and hotel points.

Keep in mind that Chase enforces its five out of twenty four rule, meaning you might face a rejection if you have opened five or more personal cards in the past two years. This Limited time offer vanishes on November fifth at seven in the morning Eastern Time, so you have just days to decide.

For anyone planning a big purchase or a getaway, that extra cash back can pad your pocket nicely before the holidays.
