Chase offers a $500 statement credit and up to 35,000 miles on United card
Chase, the banking giant, launched a new United Explorer card offer.

The short version
- You get a $500 statement credit and 25,000 miles.
- Add an authorized user to earn another 10,000 miles.
- Most applicants will not qualify due to the bank rule.
- Check your eligibility before you apply.
Why it matters to you. If you are under that limit and fly the friendly skies often, this is worth a look.
Check your wallet if you fly United Airlines. Chase, the banking giant, just rolled out a new signup bonus for the United Explorer credit card, according to Doctor of Credit. The deal packs a $500 statement credit right into your account alongside 25,000 miles.
If you add an authorized user to the account, you can pull in another 10,000 miles on top of that. Earlier this year, the bank offered up to 85,000 miles without the cash credit. Now, you have to choose between cold hard cash and the points.
There is a catch for heavy card users. Most people will not qualify for the bonus due to the strict 5/24 rule that blocks applicants who opened five or more cards in the past two years.

You can find the direct link online or trigger the offer by making a dummy booking on the United website. Sometimes the best return on travel is simply getting your cash back.
