Compass moves all title and escrow operations to Qualia platform
Compass just overhauled its back end. They are moving every title operation onto Qualia. Old systems from the Anywhere merger are gone. The rollout finishes by 2027 and multiplies Qualia's footprint fivefold.
Real estate giant Compass just made a massive tech shift that will change how closings happen. Compass International Holdings is moving all title and escrow operations across its Compass Integrated Services onto the Qualia platform. The massive deal replaces a patchwork of old systems that Compass inherited following its merger with Anywhere Real Estate. The first Compass title company goes live on the new setup on Oct. 12, with the full rollout continuing step by step through 2027. When the rollout is finished, Qualia's footprint across these title companies will grow more than 5 times bigger. The two companies already built a one-click title ordering integration back in 2023, letting agents place orders straight from the Compass Home Platform. Data shows agents using that tool attach title and escrow at roughly twice the rate of other agents. Cory Perkins, president of integrated services at Compass, said real estate agents should be out selling instead of worrying about back end coordination. This massive consolidation reflects a broader shift among giant brokerages to lock title and escrow directly into agent workflows. For your own real estate business, watching how top brokerages smooth out the closing table helps you spot where the industry is moving next.
