In-N-Out may expand to Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma
In-N-Out, the 445-location burger chain, might open in three new states.

The short version
- Lynsi Snyder, the chain's owner and president, named Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.
- New restaurants would sit along the current distribution path from Texas.
- Sales grew about 10% last year across the company.
In-N-Out, the 445-location burger chain known for its double-doubles, is considering opening restaurants in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. Lynsi Snyder, the chain's owner and president, revealed the expansion plans in an interview posted to the company website, according to Fortune. The 1948 Los Angeles-born burger seller already has plans for Tennessee, relying on supply shipments routed directly out of Texas.
Opening spots in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma makes geographic sense because those states sit right along that existing distribution network. Domestic sales grew about 10% last year compared to 2024, trailing only New York-based Shake Shack among US burger chains, according to data cited by the Wall Street Journal.
For travelers and road-trippers heading through the South, double-doubles and fresh-cut fries could soon be a lot easier to find off the highway.
