Robert Downey Jr. joins Snapchat's Specs as Chief Customer Experience Officer

Robert Downey Jr., the actor, just took on a job title that barely fits on a business card. He is joining Specs, from the social media app Snapchat, as Chief Customer Experience Officer. Downey Jr. will work with the SPECS team to explore new augmented reality capabilities and experiences.

That is technology that overlays digital images and information onto the real world. He will also develop original content for SPECS. Even Hollywood stars need a formal corporate title sometimes.
