Check your nonprofit's funding calendar today. TD Charitable Foundation, the giving arm of TD Bank U.S., just launched its 21st annual Housing for Everyone grant program with $10 million in available funding, according to ROI-NJ. The program will award 20 grants of $500,000 each to eligible nonprofit organizations that strengthen housing stability through residents' economic mobility.
Paige Carlson-Heim, head of social impact at TD Bank U.S. and director of TD Charitable Foundation, said housing stability is about more than having an affordable place to live, and it also requires the financial stability to stay there. The funding prioritizes integrated housing services, career advancement, workforce development, and financial coaching for low- and moderate-income renters.
Since 2005, the grant program has awarded more than $73 million to support over 675 affordable housing initiatives across communities from Maine to Florida. Eligible nonprofits must submit their applications by 4 p.m. On Nov. 24. For a local organization working in affordable housing, that half-million-dollar check can fund an entire year of workforce development and financial coaching programs.
