Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang reaffirms a massive $4 trillion AI spending forecast
Jensen Huang, the head of Nvidia, just doubled down on a massive AI forecast.

The short version
- He expects global data center spending to hit up to $4 trillion a year by 2030.
- That massive build-out could mean huge gains for the chipmaker's future revenue.
Jensen Huang, the head of Nvidia, is sticking by his biggest bet yet on artificial intelligence. A little over a year ago, the chipmaker boss told investors that global data center capital expenditures will reach up to $4 trillion annually by 2030, with a floor of $3 trillion, and he recently reaffirmed that exact forecast.
According to AOL.com, Nvidia sits at the center of the AI space and has a clearer view of long-term client build-out plans than outside investors. This year alone, the five biggest AI tech giants are expected to pour nearly $800 billion into data center spending, pushing total yearly capex to around $1 trillion.
That means the entire market could triple or quadruple between now and 2030. Analysts estimate Nvidia will pull in $412 billion in revenue this year, but if the market expands as projected and the company holds its ground, yearly revenue could surge up to $1.6 trillion.

With current profit margins sitting at 64 percent, that kind of growth could eventually point toward a market cap well above its current size of about $5.4 trillion. While nobody has a crystal ball, the sheer amount of concrete and steel going into new server halls suggests the hardware boom is far from over.
When the biggest supplier in the room doubles down on numbers like these, Wall Street tends to sit up straight and check its calculators.
