Nvidia is pouring $3 billion into Meta equity.

The short version
- Meta is raising up to $95 billion in stock offerings.
- The massive fundraise bankrolls new artificial-intelligence infrastructure and agents.
- Nvidia chips will power the next wave of systems.
- This partnership shapes the tools used by big tech.
Nvidia, the chip designer powering the artificial-intelligence boom, is putting its money where its partnership is. According to the Wall Street Journal, Nvidia is investing $3 billion in Meta's planned equity fundraise as the two tech giants deepen their work together. Meta, which owns Facebook and WhatsApp, announced a staggering plan to raise up to $95 billion in waves of stock offerings to pay for massive AI infrastructure.
The tech giant initially said it would launch roughly $35 billion in public offerings, including $22.5 billion of Class A common stock and $12.5 billion of depositary shares, before upsizing the common stock tranche to $25 billion. Class A shares are priced at $625 each, while depository shares cost $50 apiece.
As part of the expanded collaboration, Meta intends to increase its use of Nvidia infrastructure, including Vera Rubin and Vera central processing units, for next-generation AI agents. The companies also said they are considering working together in other areas, such as monitoring agent behavior.
The move reflects soaring demand for practical artificial intelligence that actually works. For anyone running a business, the billions flowing into AI infrastructure mean the software and agents you rely on every day are getting faster and more powerful behind the scenes. When two giants this size lock arms, the whole tech landscape moves with them.
