The Advance Group leases 93,728 square feet in Carteret to consolidate three sites
The Advance Group just grabbed a 93,728-square-foot warehouse in Carteret.

The short version
- The office moving and logistics company is combining three old spots in Newark and Harrison.
- Link Logistics, the huge industrial real estate owner, owns the new Port South building.
The Advance Group just signed a 93,728-square-foot lease at 700 Federal Blvd. In Carteret, combining operations from three separate locations in Newark and Harrison. Global real estate adviser Avison Young, which helps companies find warehouse and office space, represented the moving and logistics firm in the transaction, according to ROI-NJ.
Link Logistics, the massive industrial real estate owner, is the landlord. The new facility sits inside Port South, a newly developed industrial park in Carteret featuring a 289,144-square-foot distribution hub. The building gives trucks direct access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark Liberty International Airport, and the Port Newark-Elizabeth marine terminals.
Inside, the warehouse features 36-foot clear heights and 16 loading docks to speed up regional shipments. Ed English Jr. And Ron Ganter, principals at Avison Young, spent months searching the market from Exit 8A to the Meadowlands to find the right fit.
They analyzed workforce commutes, building footprints, and transport costs before landing the deal. “The Advance Group needed a facility that could support growth and streamline operations across northern New Jersey,” English said. For a growing business, bringing three fragmented stops under one roof cuts down on empty miles and wasted hours on Route 21. When your trucks spend less time crawling between warehouses, more product moves out the door.
