Provident Bank awards $83,000 in grants to 10 New Jersey nonprofits
Provident Bank just gave 83,000 dollars to ten local groups.

The short version
- The money funds affordable housing and financial literacy classes across New Jersey.
- Support reaches communities through the Community Development Partnership Program.
Ten New Jersey nonprofits just received a total of 83,000 dollars in grants from Provident Bank, a regional bank operating across New Jersey and the region, according to ROI-NJ. The funding arrives through the bank's Community Development Partnership Program, which supports local organizations working on affordable housing, homeownership, and financial literacy education.
Roxanne Camejo, senior vice president and Community Development officer at Provident Bank, said the bank is supporting more groups with a larger investment this year due to rising Community needs. Since July 2023, the Program has partnered with over a dozen local nonprofits focused on economic growth and sustainable Community development.
The grants help residents build essential financial skills and access new housing opportunities. For local business owners and families, these programs strengthen the surrounding neighborhoods where you live and work. Stronger communities mean steadier local business and better access to credit for everyone down the block.
