Walmart just stretched its holiday sales events to 14 days with gifts under $20
Walmart just added four extra days to its holiday shopping schedule.
The short version
- The massive discount chain runs three events totaling 14 days of deals.
- Paid subscribers get early access to sales on toys and electronics.
- Thousands of gifts will sell for under $20 this season.
Why it matters to you. For your business or household, longer sales windows mean more time to scout bulk holiday purchases before the final rush hits.
Holiday shoppers are getting a longer runway this year at Walmart, the massive discount store chain. Walmart just announced dates for three major savings events running from November through December, stretching the total shopping window to 14 days. That is an increase from the 10 days of sales offered during the 2025 holiday season.
The early Black Friday deals run from November 12 to November 15. The core Black Friday sale kicks off November 23 and runs through November 29, followed by Cyber Monday from November 30 to December 2. Unlike last year when specific toys and electronics got a sneak peek, this year the retailer is broadly highlighting that thousands of gifts will be available below $20.
Members of the Walmart+ paid subscription service will receive various levels of early access to specific deals during both Black Friday events. The retailer also recently launched a combined membership bundle pairing Walmart+ with Sam's Club Plus, the warehouse store chain owned by Walmart, priced at $120 a year for customers wanting both.
That combined price saves shoppers about $100 compared to buying the two memberships separately, according to the company. Walmart should be another winner this holiday season as it offers a wide range of value-focused, trend-right, and discretionary products, Telsey Advisory Group analysts, who track retail companies, said in a Monday research note shared with Retail Dive.
Target, the nationwide discount store chain, and Costco, the warehouse store chain, are also expected to do well during the period.
